Using the tools

TextGenLab provides free text conversion tools for personal and commercial use. The converted output is standard Unicode text; you may use it wherever you like, subject to the rules of the platform you paste it into.

No warranty

The tools are provided as-is. Unicode rendering differs across devices and platforms, and we cannot guarantee that styled text displays identically everywhere or that a third-party platform will accept it in names or fields.

Acceptable use

Do not use the tools to impersonate another person or organisation, to evade platform moderation in a way that violates that platform's terms, or for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the text you create and where you post it.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code belong to TextGenLab. The Unicode character sets themselves are a public standard maintained by the Unicode Consortium. Your own words remain yours, obviously.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the current version always lives on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
