Tiny Text Generator
The smallest text you can paste. Shrink your words into tiny letters for bios, footnotes, fine print jokes and quiet little asides.
What is tiny text?
Tiny text is plain text converted into the smallest Unicode characters available, mainly superscript letters and small capitals, so it renders noticeably smaller than normal text while staying real, selectable text.
How the Tiny Text Generator works
There is no shrink button in Unicode, so a tiny text generator cheats with characters that were born small. Superscript letters (ᵃ, ᵇ, ᶜ) were designed for mathematics, where they sit up high in miniature. Small capitals (ᴀ, ʙ, ᴄ) come from phonetics. The Tiny Mix style uses whichever set has the smaller, cleaner version of each letter and falls back gracefully when a character simply has no tiny form.
Because the output is genuine text, it pastes into bios, comments and messages and stays tiny on the other side. It also stays searchable and selectable, unlike a screenshot of small writing. The trade-off is coverage: the letter Q in superscript and a few symbols have no official tiny version, so this generator borrows the closest match rather than leaving a gap in your word.
Tiny text styles in this generator
- Tiny Mix: A per-letter mix of the smallest available forms, so no letter is left big.
- Superscript: Small raised characters, designed for exponents. The smallest true text style.
- Small Caps: Small capital letters. The classic tiny look: quiet, clean and readable everywhere.
- Subscript: Small lowered characters, made for chemical formulas and phonetics.
- Circled: Every letter inside its own circle. Friendly, badge-like text.
- Squared: Every letter inside its own square, like signage tiles.
Where to use tiny text
Bio fine print
Add a tiny disclaimer, a fandom tag or a second line nobody was meant to find. Tiny text is the bio equivalent of a wink.
Comments and replies
A tiny reply reads like a whisper in a loud thread. It is a whole comic tone in one paste.
Footnotes and asides
Mark side notes in captions and posts with tiny text instead of brackets, so the main message stays clean.
Aesthetic usernames
Tiny letters make a short name look delicate and different, especially mixed with a normal word in front of it.

Tiny text FAQs
What is the smallest text style here?
Superscript renders smallest, since those characters were designed as miniature raised letters. Tiny Mix is usually the best balance, because it picks the smallest available version of every letter and keeps the line even.
Why does my text have one normal-sized letter?
That character has no tiny version in Unicode. The usual suspects are Q in superscript and some symbols. Tiny Mix borrows the small-caps version for those letters so the word stays complete.
Does tiny text work in Instagram bios?
Yes. Instagram renders superscript and small-capital Unicode correctly, and the text stays tiny. Keep in mind that very small text is hard for some readers, so do not hide anything important in it.
Is tiny text the same as small text?
They overlap. Small text usually means the small-caps look; tiny text pushes smaller by leading with superscript characters. This page includes both, and the Small Text Generator page leans the other way if you prefer the caps look.
Can I make tiny numbers too?
Yes. Superscript and subscript digits both exist (¹²³ and ₁₂₃), and both styles on this page convert numbers along with letters.
